The Security Electronics were designed for a Hard Bid to a subcontractor for a Design/Build (CM/GC) General Contractor for a GMP.
Prior to establishment of HK Electrical Engineers, Mr. Hopkins provided the designs to renovate the security electronics systems in the existing 320-bed facility and designed the 220- bed, 95,800 sq. ft., $9.3M expansion of the facility to 550-beds. Work included segregation, dorm, and the renovation of all administration and support spaces.
Work included designs for graphic control panels for the control of door, intercom and paging and video surveillance control systems. Other systems included a site-wide Facility Intercom (PBX type) system, access control (card reader) systems, UPS, and MATV distribution.
